Francis Norman Lowe established the family business, Francis N. Lowe Ltd in 1946, now in our third generation with Francis's son Adrian, granddaughter Elisabeth and a loyal team of masons and craftsmen. The majority who have been with us since leaving school and are fully trained in all the essential skills to work the granite, marble, limestone and travertine etc. to its best advantage. Creating the finished product that you had been dreaming.

Lowe's Marble and Granite are based at the original site, established over 64 years ago, in the rural village of Middleton by Wirksworth in Derbyshire. Lowe's have expanded, and are still expanding in order to meet the growing needs our customers have for a bespoke personalise finish to all of the products.

Using modern automated machines alongside traditional masonry skills we are able to produce a vast range of stone goods from kitchen worktops, vanity tops, cladding, and flooring to small items such as house name plaques and pastry/chopping boards out of many stones including, granite, quartz, marble, limestone, travertine, engineered and natural tiles all to the customers specific specifications, the uses are endless.

Every project undertaken by the masons at Lowe's is finished with the same care and attention to detail no matter of the size. Each project is as important as the next for us, just as it is as important for the customer. We aim to offer the highest quality of materials in the highest finish achievable and they do not leave our workshop until we are 100% happy with the quality.
