Francis Norman Lowe established the family business, Francis N. Lowe Ltd in 1946, now in our third generation with Francis's son Adrian and granddaughter Elisabeth.

Our loyal team of dedicated masons and craftsmen, the majority of whom have been with us since leaving school, have all been fully trained on site. With their skills and knowledge of the stone they work the granite, marble, limestone, travertine etc. to its best advantage, creating a finished product that you have been dreaming of.

Lowe's Marble and Granite are still based at the original site, established 65 years ago, in the rural village of Middleton By Wirksworth in Derbyshire. Lowe's have expanded on the original site, and are still expanding in order to meet the growing needs our customers have for a bespoke personalized finish to all of the products.

Using modern automated machines alongside traditional masonry skills, Lowe's are able to produce a vast range of stone goods from kitchen worktops, vanity tops, cladding and flooring to small items such as house name plaques, pastry/chopping, cheese boards etc. from many different natural and engineered stones including granite, quartz, marble, limestone, travertine, engineered and natural tiles all to the customers specific specifications. The uses are endless, if you have a project in mind,no matter how small or large Lowe's will endeavor to make that project into a reality for you.

Each and every project undertaken by the skilled mason's at Lowe's is finished with the same care and attention to detail no matter of the size. Each project is as important as the next for us, just as it is as important for you the customer. We aim to offer the highest quality of materials in the highest finish achievable and they do not leave our workshop until we are 100% happy with the quality.
