“Using only full sized slabs of 1st quality natural granite Lowe’s can create the bespoke worktops of your dreams.”

Why Granite? Granite is one of the most practical work surfaces available. Offering a durable, hygienic worktop that comes in handy if you like making bread or pastry as its a lovely cool surface to roll out onto.

Low Maintenance, there is very little care and maintenance required for premium quality granite worktops. Wipe down with soap and water, anti-bacterial spray or dilute solution of bleach if required. Every month or so you can give the polished granite a spray with a specialist polish if you so choose.

Colours & Patterns, Granite in its vast array of colours from black, white, blue, green, red… is also available in a range of different surface finishes. The majority of natural granite slabs are polished but you can also choose a honed or antique if preferred. Have a look at the Worktop Options tab above to view how you can customize your dream kitchen.

On our stock yard we have a selection of 1st choice premium quality, full sized granite slabs (approx. 2mx3m) and numerous samples in the showroom. The colours we have are our main core range as there are just 1000’s to choose from and we are limited on space. Don’t panic if you can’t find the exact colour you are looking for in our showroom you are able to visit the wholesalers, just a short drive from our showroom and hand pick your slab.

Please do not hesitate to contact us at any time to ask a question or for advice.

Please Note; All materials supplied especially natural ones, are subject to variations in markings, texture and colour. We always ask that you come and view the full slab of your chosen material before work commences rather a small hand sample as the full colour, markings and texture can not be seen in a sample, photograph or emailed image.

Why Quartz? Quartz resin is a man-made material and therefore offers a vast range of colours that are not availabe in natural granite. The manufactuers of the slabs also product a range of marble look-a-like slabs. These marble look-a-like slabs are perfect for kitchen worktops as the natural marble is too soft and pourous to be used in this enviroment and will scratch and stain easily whereas the quartz resin is designed not to.

As with the natural granite we only use full size slabs of quartz (1.4mx3m slightly smaller than granite) and can create the same bespoke tops for your kitchen. Customisable just as the granite, with a range of different edge profiles, sink cut outs, LED lights… Have a look at the Worktop Options tab above to view what is available to you.

We have a large selection of samples in the showroom from numerous manufacturers including Silestone, Compac, Quartzforms, Luna Stone (to name just a few).

 Please do not hessitate to contact us at ay time if you require any assistance.

“Granite, Quartz Resin, Marble and Limestone can all be customized to your specific requirements”.

All our worktops are manufactured bespoke to each customer, with various design options to choose to personalize and create your bespoke kitchen, these include;

The type of sink;

Under Mounted Sink.

Under mounted, where the sink is sat under the granite or quartz and has a polished cut out. The sink can be complemented with draining grooves, a draining board or both.

Nero Impala with Inset Sink.

Inset Sinks, where the sink is sat on the granite or quartz resin surface, the draining grooves and board are normally integral to the sink unit.

Belfast/ Butlers Sink

Belfast / Butlers Sink, this is where the granite or quartz is cut and polished around three sides of the sink, leaving the front open to see the features of the sink.

Draining Grooves or Draining Board? We always ask how much washing up is done by hand, this will then give you and us an idea of what will be more practice for you.

Black Pearl-Draining board.

Balmoral Red – Draining grooves.

If you have limited space and use a dishwasher then the area taken up by a set of grooves may be more valuable as an extra flat working surface. If you do not have a dishwasher then we would advise a draining board as this will contain all the water while the dishes are draining and any excess will run back into the sink. The board can always be complemented with draining grooves to allow even more of the water to drain back into the sink as these are also falls towards the sink.

Moulded Edge Profiles.

Edge profile, the edge of your 30mm granite or quartz worktop can be finished in a selection of profiles, including the standard chamfer (bevel to the top and bottom edge), detail mouldings (as shown on the left) and double the stone can also be thickened up to 50 or 60mm if required.

Granite Upstands and Backsplash

Upstands and Backsplashes, manufactured to your chosen height, size and shape with the option to have 20mm thick rather than 30mm depending on material chosen.

Window cills, kick plinths below the cupboards, end panels and skirting boards,LED strip down lights fitted into the understide of the granite to illuminate the cupboard doors and floor
